SURGE!

We welcome the new year with joy and hopeful expectations for the months to come. We have themed January as RESOLUTION month. Excited to improve in all areas (Physical, Mental, Financial) but most importantly Spiritual. With that being said God is allowing our SPIRITUAL side to get warmed up. Early today we had a graffiti incident happen outside of our church. As humans of course we felt upset, but given some time to think and a whole lot of grace from God, we can view this incident as something good. As 1 Thessalonians 5:18 richly puts it "In EVERY THING give THANKS..." Today we give thanks to God in that, while we are sinners, Jesus died for us. Yes that means he died for Mr. Graffiti artist as well. "A sudden powerful FORWARD or UPWARD movement, especially by a crowd or by a natural force..." that's the definition of Surge. The enemy reminded us this day that we are powerful and mighty through God (2 Cor 10:4) and with Gods help we will move FORWARD & UPWARD this 2019! To God be the Glory.
